We closed to entries with 176 submissions from 40 different countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So what happens now? We are reviewing the films for their link to quantum physics, storyline, and quality of filming. Our\u00a0<a href=\"\/shortlisting\">shortlisting panel<\/a>\u00a0will sift out no more than ten finalists, each no longer than five minutes, that tell stories with a quantum twist or bring artistry to interpretations of quantum physics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will be back to announce the shortlist in early 2019. In the meantime, to see where quantum ideas have taken people before, you can visit our\u00a0<a href=\"\/films\">film\u00a0<\/a>and\u00a0<a href=\"\/fictions\">fiction\u00a0<\/a>archives. We look forward to sharing with you soon how filmmakers have ventured into the quantum world anew.
